Levi’s ICD+





An Expanded History of Levi’s ICD+ & Philips’ Wearable Electronics Program ︎


I wrote the most complete history to date of the first commerical example of embedded wearable electronics in a garment. The legendary Levi’s ICD+ line was designed by Massimo Osti, Nancy Tilbury and several members of the Philips Eelectronics design division at Redhill and was produced by Levi’s around the turn of the millenium.
